Thank you for registering
your team for our FC Portland Soccer in the Sand tournament to be held on
beautiful Seaside Beach on June 16th and 17th.
We will be hosting a free beach soccer clinic on the beach on
Friday evening from 5-6pm. This is open to any and all tournament
participants.
We will host a father-daughter beach soccer game on Saturday at 12:00PM
on field number 6 and a father-son beach soccer game on Saturday at
2:15PM on field number 5. |

Brackets |

|
|
|
Soccer in the Sand has done everything in its power to accomodate
schedule requests. If your team's coach has a conflict, we strongly
recommend that you have a parent or assistant coach step in. Please
email tournament director Chris Lemay at
chris@soccerinthesand.com
if there are any scheduling errors. Please note that the emails will be
replied to on Monday. Our mission
is to have fun on the beach!
For brackets of 6 and 8 there will be semifinals and finals. For
brackets of 4, teams will play in a round robin format with the top two
teams playing in a final. In a bracket of 5, after round robin play,
winners will be determined purely by points earned - there will be no
playoff. |

Team Check-in/Registration |
|
|
All teams have two check-in options:
submitting the
Team Registration Form at either our check-in on Friday evening at our host hotel (Shilo) from
6:30-8:00pm or at the Soccer in the Sand tent on Saturday
morning 30 minutes prior to your first scheduled game. The Soccer in the Sand
tent will open at 8:15am. |

Items needed at check-in are:
- For team check-in, teams will need the following:
Team Registration Forms
- Copies of players' birth certificates
or valid player cards.
(State Association Cards, AYSO Cards, US Club Soccer Cards,
or driver's licenses are all accepted.)
- Birth certificates or player cards will only be asked
for if there is any question related to player age at the
tournament.
- Only a team representative needs to be present at
check-in. Players do not need to be present.

Parking |
|
| |
Parking will be available roadside, as well as in parking
structures adjacent to the promenade. Please pay attention to
all street signage in regards to parking. |
